From the label: ABRADED is a brutal death / grind outfit hailing from Cleveland, originally formed in 2018 by members of Inoculation and Hemdale. After their crushing self-titled debut in 2021, the band underwent a powerful lineup shift, unleashing their second full-length album Unadulterated Perversity. With it came their first international tours across the U.S., South America, Mexico and Europe including an appearance at the Obscene Extreme Festival in 2024. Redefining Darkness are excited to present the band’s 3rd full length, Ethereal Emanations From Chthonic Caries, full of punishing riffs, frenetic drumming, and guttural filth that drags listeners into pure sonic savagery!

Originally recorded in 2017 (but never released), this album pre-dates the band's official debut Descendants Of The Swamp (Maggot Stomp, 2018). Everything has been remixed and remastered, and it is being marketed as the band's latest album.

The real question I have is: how were you able to let such an INSANELY SICK album collect dust for 8 years?!!?! This absolutely blows away their official debut. It's way grindier, way more intense, way more chaotic, way filthier. Leans way harder into a death-grind sound than their more cavemen death metal style.
