The debut demo from legendary death/grind sickos LORD GORE gets a much deserved vinyl reissue thanks to the freaks over in Denmark at ERP. In my own musical journey, LORD GORE were incredibly influential. I picked up their 2nd album Resickened back in 2005 in a dollar bin; my decision based on the disgusting cover art alone. The music and lyrics were some of the most disgusting I had ever heard/read and it was all downhill for me from there. I was forever searching for grosser music.

I must admit that I have never heard this, the debut demo from the band. Originally self-released in 1999 on cassette (limited to 69 copies). All of these tracks, including the Impetigo cover, found their way onto the band's debut 2002 album The Autophagous Orgy. But naturally the versions here are much more raw, and dare I say the rawness fits these vile songs even better.

The lineup here featured members of Frightmare, Engorged, and Fornicator.

Fully remastered from the original cassettes by Lasse in Ballade Studios in 2024, including their IMPETIGO “Breakfast at the Manchester Morgue” cover song originally published on the “Wizards of Gore” IMPETIGO tribute album by Razorback Records in 2000 and comes with a 4 page full colour booklet with old photos, lyrics and including liner notes from Gurge about the early days of the band and the process the recordings
