Russian newschoolers PYRE and Swedish oldschoolers INTERMENT join forces for this 2016 split 7". If you don't know these bands, then surely you must live under a rock.

Both bands have been churning out some of the sickest death metal imaginable for many, many years. Here on this split, we get a track from each band. And in the case of INTERMENT, this is the most recent release of theirs. AND HOLY FUCK! What a song!

If you've not heard PYRE, there's no better introduction than this offering. Swedish sounding death metal by way of Russia, but without any banality. Their songwriting chops and memorable riffage place them at the top of the heap.
